‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’

UPDATED FEBRUARY 2017 Note original Date

There is an old homily ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’.  That saying pretty well defines the delimma the nation faces.   To the majority of citizens  the nation “ain’t”  broke. That fact is probably the greatest danger to the nation today, the ignorance of citizens is pathetic even following the 2016 election debacle. The USGOV.FIX  analysis confirms the nation is not yet totally broken  but there are fundamental flaws which  if not FIXED will cause it to break.  It’s a challenge for the reader/citizen. Some breaks can be fixed if caught in time.  To fix a broken nation is an almost insurmountable task and the consequences for not fixing it  are beyond definition.
